Dear Birth Parent,
Our names are Josh and Renae, and we chose the above quote because we believe in what it says – that living happens when we give ourselves to others.
Through the years we have been blessed with wonderful roles models of giving – a grandmother who welcomed everyone to her kitchen table; a dad who worked three jobs to provide for his family; and a mother who worked tirelessly with her kids on their homework because she believed in the value of a good education. Each of them, in their own way, shared with us how to give.
For us, sharing these lessons with our seven nieces and three nephews is important. Likewise, our sincere hope is to have the blessing to share these experiences with our children one day.
