Sharon and Philip's Parent Profile.

Pleased to meet you! Our names are Sharon and Philip. We are a happily married couple living in The Netherlands. A little over a year ago we had the privilege to adopt our miraculous daughter Wende. Since then we have enjoyed parenting so much that we long for another child to love and raise. Therefore we deeply wish to adopt once more and complete our family.

Thank you for taking the time to look at us.

We are a loving family, hoping to add to our family through another adoption.   We live in Idaho, but both of us grew up in Utah.  We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  William teaches Technology Education at a local Junior High School.  Alicia used to be a First-grade Teacher, but now chooses to be a stay at home mom and take care of our son, Leland.  We love animals, and currently have two cats.  Family is very important to us.  We have always wanted to have a big family, but we would be thrilled to have even just one more.

We met in 2003.  We were married in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple in 2004.  In 2006, we both graduated from Southern Utah University with our Bachelor's Degrees.  We also moved to Idaho in 2006.  We were approved to adopt in 2007, and we were joyously blessed with our son in 2008.

Dear Birthmother,

The day after we received the news that we should not become pregnant again, Todd came home from work with the cutest little pink stuffed bunny. "Brandy", he said, "we may not be able to make anymore babies, but nothing is going to stop us from completing our family with a little Princess!" So here we are, opening our hearts andlives up to you for your consideration of us as adoptive parents. We hope to get to know you and keep in touch, if you are comfortable with that.

We are a spontaneous, young family that loves life and all it had to offer. We love to spend time watching movies on Friday night or loading up for a road trip. What ever it is that we are doing you can bet it is full of laughter and fun!

 Dear Birth Mother,

Words seem so inadequate as we try to tell you about ourselves. We appreciate this opportunity to introduce our little family.

We have been blessed with two wonderful children. Going through the adoption process twice has brought us to the knowledge that adoption is truly a miracle. We love and honor the birth mother who made our family possible. We look forward to sharing the adoption process with another birth mother and welcoming another miracle into our home.

Our son is Nate. He is six. He will be in first grad this fall. Nate is an active, happy little boy who loves to be outdoors. He likes playing baseball and playing on the swings. Nate is a protective older brother who takes a  lot of pride in helping with his little sister. He is eager to have a new brother or sister in the house, “so I can play with them!”

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to allow us to introduce ourselves, we can only imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. We are Dan and Amy, a fun, loving, Catholic couple, longing to be parents. Our love and devotion for children has made us want to expand our family of 2 to a family of 3 or 4. We have tried for several years to start a family but our struggles with fertility issues has made this very difficult. We now know that being adoptive parents is the path God has chosen for us. We can't wait to hear the sound of children laughing, playing and running through the house.
