Hello! We are Genilson and Tania. We are a warm, spirited couple currently living in Northern California. We are proud and excited to become parents through open adoption. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

ABOUT US... We met in Genilson's home country of Brazil in 2004 while studying in Minas Gerais. We quickly became close friends as Tania helped Genilson with his English and Genilson helped Tania with her Portuguese! Tania was drawn to Genilson's energetic smile, and Genilson was attracted to Tania's passion for learning.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.  I am a single woman with a lot of love to give.  As fulfilling as my life is, I feel that I am ready to become a mom.  Nothing would make me happier at this moment.  I have a very good job where I am part of the family. My work allows me to work from home or maintain a flexible schedule.  My parents live extremely close by and will be here to support me however they can.  I have a home in a community with lots of young families.

I support your decision to want to give your child the best life possible.  It's an extremely courageous and unselfish act.  Although it's a tough decision, I want you to know that I promise to give this child a safe, stable, and happy home that is filled with love and security.

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile to learn about us.  We cannot imagine what you are going through right now while you consider an adoption plan.  Please be assured that if you choose our family, your child will be loved more than words can describe and will be very well-cared for.  Your child will be encouraged to do well in school, go to college, regularly attend church, and be a responsible, hard-working, moral person. He or she will travel with us on trips with our family and friends.  They will have grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will play an important role in their life. And, they will have many friends to play with, as most of our friends already have children.

We are Ryan and Libby from Salt Lake City, Utah.  We like to think of ourselves as loving, intelligent, responsible and funny people and, unless our friends and family have been lying to us, we are not far off the mark.

We met in 2001 at a New Year’s Eve party and, as corny as that sounds, have been in love ever since. We married in 2005, bought a house, got a dog, Sally, two cats, Rita and Alice, and some fish, and started planning for the day we would have children.  After almost three years of trying to conceive that day still has not come. So, we are looking to adoption to grow our family.

We both already have a lot interaction with children in our daily lives. Ryan is the Assistant Principal at a private High School within walking distance of our house. Every day he counsels, teaches, and cares for more than three hundred teens. He even travels with them, and has taken groups of students to Tonga, Italy, and New Orleans.

It’s hard to put into words just how we feel and is just as hard to understand all of the feelings that you may be having. We hope you know that you are watched over and we are praying for you. We can only imagine what you are going through and the strength and courage you must have as you make these important decisions. It is difficult to sum us up with a few words and pictures but hopefully you can get a feel for the kind of people we are.

We met at church and were friends for about 3 years until the stars aligned and we started dating. We dated for 1 year and then while fishing one day, Deidra reeled in a big fake diamond ring and Steve proposed. We were married 3 months later, at the end of 2000.

Kate is a devoted stay-at-home mom and Kevin is a kind and gentle dad. We are a happily married, Christian couple in our 30s. We have been married seven years. We live in upstate New York, about two hours from New York City.  We have been homestudy approved. We are legally able and willing to adopt from any state in the USA. We are financially and emotionally secure with a loving home and an amazing circle of friends and family.
