Blogging. And making cupcakes...

Now that our profile is up and active, I figure it's time to start blogging!   Of course I'm not exactly sure what it is I have to blog about at 8:43am on this Sunday morning, but here goes.

On the adoption front, progress is slow, but moving forward.   We have appointments with a few local adoption attorneys and should be getting copies of our profile from the printers any day now.   Hoping I do not have glaring typos that will be forever saved in 150 gloss full color copies...

Looking for Mr. Wonderful!

Hello!

Homestudy Approved through Bethany Christian Services!

We are a Christian family with 4 biological children, all girls ages 7,7,18 and 21. But No Boys! We so much want a boy (or two) to share our lives with! We are interested mostly in a child between the ages of 3-5, but will also consider older. We have a beautiful home with plenty of room (6000 square feet) and a huge yard to play in! We live in a rural area of a small community in SE Minnesota. We are well known in the community and have many friends and family members that support our decision to adopt a child! We believe that we have much to offer including stability, love, security, and the acceptance and belonging to a large, loving family! We are prepared and able to give this child(ren) a wonderful life! Please contact us anytime for any additional information needed in this very important decision! We are so very excited to hear from you!

God Bless!

All that's missing is a baby!

Kansas Couple Hopeful for a Baby

Hi! We are James and Tiffany and we live in Kansas. We really want to be parents through a domestic adoption. We feel that our midwestern values of hard work, determination, honesty and loyalty are good qualities for being parents. We also have plenty of family and extended family (including great friends) to help us be the very best parents we can once we adopt.

We have been trying to be parents for a while now and while the wait is frustrating and hard, we know it will be worth it once we bring our child home. We have a lovely ranch style home with a huge back yard and plenty of fun neighbor kids around. Our beagle, Marli is ready to play with and watch over our child too.

Please consider us if you know of someone choosing an adoption plan. We would very much appreciate your help in making us parents. Best wishes from our home to yours - Tiffany

Hi there!

Hi there! For our first official blog on this site, I think I'll tell you a little more about us. If you haven't seen our website it's www.freewebs.com/jamesandtiffanyadopt. We are a married couple living in Kansas and we really want to be parents. We've been trying to be parents almost as long as we've been married (almost 5 years!). We're still hopefull it'll all work out through prayers, hope and "dreaming big" as our friends tell us to.

The importance of Family

Family is the most important thing in our lives. Jason and I are extremely close to our parents and our extended family. My mother in law comes to our house to watch Gaby Monday through Friday and my father watches her on Friday. I work with my father in law and we see my parents at least every weekend.

Gaby loves spending time with Jason's brother, Uncle Jeff and Jason's sister, Auntie Rachele. Most of the time we just hang out, eat and laugh. Jason's family is one of those families that just laughs at everything. We have a great time together.

My brother Randy is married and has three sons;Luke, Jake and Mark. They live in Southern California. Gaby just loves her cousins. We flew to California to see them in September and we had the best time!! Seeing each other at least twice a year is an absolute must!

A Puppet Show Performance by Gaby and her Great Aunt Karen

Christmas 2006

This year was the first Christmas where Gaby started to "get it." She was really into Santa and the reindeer and everything else that goes along with it. Needless to say, we had a blast! Jason and I stood in every line and took her to almost every event where Santa was going to make an appearance. It was a busy holiday.

In this picture we were in downtown Boston at the annual tree lighting. She loved it!!!

Here we are on Christmas Eve!!

Gaby just put out cookies for Santa!!

We had a wonderful Christmas!!!!
