We are a Christian family with 4 biological children, all girls ages 7,7,18 and 21. But No Boys! We so much want a boy (or two) to share our lives with! We are interested mostly in a child between the ages of 3-5, but will also consider older. We have a beautiful home with plenty of room (6000 square feet) and a huge yard to play in! We live in a rural area of a small community in SE Minnesota. We are well known in the community and have many friends and family members that support our decision to adopt a child! We believe that we have much to offer including stability, love, security, and the acceptance and belonging to a large, loving family! Hi! We are Andrew and Amanda and we live in Atlanta, Georgia.  We have an amazing son who is almost 4 and he is our world.

We know that this is such a confusing time for you. After making the decision of adoption it's all about finding the perfect family. We are hoping to be that perfect family for someone. 

As of now we are not working with an agency.   Not to say that we won't in the future, just not yet.

A little about us, we have been married for about 4.5 years and just moved into our new house about a year ago.  It is in a great neighborhood, in a good school district with a lot of kids.  Andrew and I have been trying to have another child for approx. 2 years.  We have had one pregnancy that ended in the first trimester. Devastating time for us.  We have an amazing bond and were able to get through that loss and now feel ready to welcome a little one into our life.

Our names are Heather, Austin & Kevin from Georgia!  We are both proud and thrilled that we became Austin's parents through open adoption and we are very excited to be adopting again!

It's been about eight months now that we've been looking for that special birthmother that will bless us with the opportunity to raise her child.  Although there are so many heart wrenching emotions, difficult decisions and tears throughout the process, this is  truly an amazing journey.   Through this process we've met some amazing people, found out a lot more about ourselves and I think even inspired another family member to adopt!  And through it all we have met some amazing birthmothers, birthfathers & birth grandparents who have been inspiring for so many different reasons.

 

 

We've come close a couple times, but we're still searching for that special birthmother to help us fulfill our dream of becoming parents. If you or anyone you know is considering an adoption plan for their child, please keep us in mind! -liz & steve
