We have foster kids!!

I believe I mentioned that we have been foster parents for a while. Our last two kids stayed with us for 8 months. They were a little boy, 4 (turned 5 in our custody), and a litlte girl, 18 months old. They went back to their families, which is the goal of all foster kids in the beginning. On March 25th we got the call again that there were two little girls that needed a  place to stay for a few nights. Well, a few nights turned into a few weeks. These little girls are so amazing!

Unplanned but no mistake! Looking to adopt again.

I once heard a quote about unplanned pregnancies that read "Although unplanned in the eyes of the expectant parents; they (referring to the babies) are not unplanned in the eyes of God"  To me this says it all.

I look at our children and see them for the miracles they are and how blessed we are to be in a position to parent them. If it wasn't for Jenna's birthmom we would not have the privledge , nor the world would not have the privledge, of having this beautiful little spirit to love and watch grow! Maybe the pregnancy was unplanned but as you can see there is no mistake here!

We are Karen and Shawn, thank you for giving us this opportunity to tell you about ourselves. We have fun filled adventurous lives and look forward to sharing them with our children.  Your baby would grow up in a loving Christian home where both parents will put their child needs first.  They will have the love of grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.  We will be able to give them the best education and will encourage whatever talents they have in school and out of school. They will know they were chosen by God to be with us and will know that their Mommy made a selfless choice to do what she thought was best for her baby.

Hi - We are Mike and Denise.  We know that it is a very difficult decison to make plans for adoption of your child but we want you to know that we understand.  

We are a very devoted and happily married couple who recently discovered we are unable to have a biological child.  We both have such big hearts and would love the opportunity to provide a child with all the love we have as well as a happy and secure life. 

We promise that he or she will have all the love a family could possibly share and lots and lots of teddy bears to hug!  We would love the opportunity to discuss the possibility of adopting your child.

It's been about eight months now that we've been looking for that special birthmother that will bless us with the opportunity to raise her child.  Although there are so many heart wrenching emotions, difficult decisions and tears throughout the process, this is  truly an amazing journey.   Through this process we've met some amazing people, found out a lot more about ourselves and I think even inspired another family member to adopt!  And through it all we have met some amazing birthmothers, birthfathers & birth grandparents who have been inspiring for so many different reasons.
