 We know that there is no one like you. You are a unique individual and blessed with a very special gift to give. This must be a difficult time in your life but we are grateful that your courageous heart has carried you this far. We will continue to pray for you and your baby.

Our names are Mike and Traci. We've been married since September of 1994. After the loss of our first child, we experienced pain and grief when we learned we could not have a child biologically, humor and our love for each other got us through that disappointment. We have grown closer as a couple because of this experience. We learned through that experience that we wanted to be parents more than we wanted to be pregnant. We realized God was leading us toward adoption.

Daylon joined our family through adoption. Daylon is a loving, curious, and happy little boy...His birthmother's loving and selfless act allowed him to join our family and complete our dreams of having a child. But we realize that our hearts have room to love and nurture another child and Daylon would love to have a brother or sister to play with...

Mike is a sales representative for a wholesale food company. He enjoys working with the public and meeting new people. His schedule provides for him to be home in the afternoon and have weekends off. Mike enjoys coaching Daylon's T-Ball team. Traci describes Mike as a warm, fun-loving, dependable person with a great sense of humor. He loves being a dad, going to / watching NASCAR races, golfing, and fishing.

Traci is a 6th grade teacher. She feels greatly rewarded through her work with children. She has short workdays with major holidays and summers off. This schedule provides her with a lot of time to devote to her family. Mike describes Traci as a warm, compassionate, loving, and dependable person. She loves being a mom, reading, going to / watching NASCAR races, and fishing.

Daylon is going to Kindergarten. He loves playing T-Ball and playing with his friends. Daylon also has 2 devoted grandmother's who love to fuss over him as well when his parents are at work. He loves going on adventures with Papa David and Papa Jeff. The grandparents look forward to spoiling a new grandbaby.

As a family, we enjoy a lot of the same activities especially our family time, eating out, shopping (Yes, Mike and Daylon love to shop.), and watching/going to NASCAR races and other sporting events. We also enjoy vacationing with our families. We have traveled to Branson to see music shows, gone to the beaches of Grand Cayman, visited extended family in Illinois, and just returned from Disney World (see our attached pictures)..

We live in a small North Texas town, in a quiet neighborhood (with children), in a spacious home with Savannah(our tea cup toy poodle) and Ozzy ( Daylon's Pekingese).(They just loves Daylon). We are fortunate to have our parents and some extended family living in the same town. Our parents and extended family cannot wait to have another baby to fuss over. We have several cousins who are also adopted, so our families know first hand the blessing that comes with adoption. We attend a very family oriented church. Our church family includes many children and has an awesome children's program. We look forward to sharing our faith with a child.

We have the greatest respect for you and the plans you are making for your baby. We are proud of you and your decision and will continue to keep you in our prayers. We cannot wait to hear more about you and get to know you better.
