Easter Weekend

This weekend we celebrated Easter. It a very special holiday for us. It is such a time of renewal and rebirth. The long winter is over and what the day represents is so spiritual. We all get dressed up for church and sing praise. It is also a time for family and togetherness. This year we spent Saturday with my family and Sunday with Jason's. It was a blast! We had two Easter egg hunts and two big meals and of course we all got two big Easter baskets!

Here we are after church:

The funniest thing was when Gaby was helping me hide Jason's easter basket. We hid it in the hall closet. We called Jason up from the playroom to come look for it and Gaby yelled, "Daddy, come look for your basket! It's in the hall closet!!!!" I guess she gets the hide part but not the seek. Jason played along. It was hysterical.

Jason and I were talking last night about how wonderful it is going to be with another child to share all of our holidays with. Gaby asked us if next year she would have a brother or sister to share her candy with. She is so sweet. I said an extra prayer in church knowing that it is all in His hands.

Here are some more pictures from the weekend!
