Now that our profile is up and active, I figure it's time to start blogging!   Of course I'm not exactly sure what it is I have to blog about at 8:43am on this Sunday morning, but here goes.

On the adoption front, progress is slow, but moving forward.   We have appointments with a few local adoption attorneys and should be getting copies of our profile from the printers any day now.   Hoping I do not have glaring typos that will be forever saved in 150 gloss full color copies...

Today we are celebrating our daughter's 7th Birthday Party.   She's not techincally seven yet (we have three more days) but hopefully today she'll have a fun time celebrating with her friends.  And yes, I managed to book a birthday party on Superbowl Sunday.   Brilliant, eh?   In my defense I didn't realize it was Superbowl Sunday (obviously) and the party will be done before the game starts.  Not that 6 and 7 year old girls are hardcore football fans.    I just finished up decorating a batch of cupcakes and putting them into cute little cupcake boxes I found through Oriental Trading Company's catalog...

Now I just need to close up all the boxes and figure out how I'm transporting these babies.  :)   Sadly, that's really all I've got for this Sunday morning...  :)
